Families and cabin sharing options

On most cruises we can offer you the option of interconnecting or non interconnecting cabins, which are capable of accommodating between three or four people. For family cabins or larger rooms which can hold more than four people, please call to check availability.

Due to the popularity of these options they are subject to availability and we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Subject to terms and conditions a discount may be offered for the extra passengers in the cabin. Please contact us for further information and pricing.

Cruise itinerary and visiting ports of call

In most ports of call you will be offered tenders, excursions, leisure activities and wherever possible the choice to do your own thing within the allotted time period. You will have a good chance to look around and enjoy the sites and maybe even indulge in some local activities. You may just prefer to stay on board which is fine as the ship will still operate all its facilities as normal.

If you decide to book excursions they will vary in cost depending on what you do and their duration. There is usually a varied selection to suit everyone needs and budget. We are happy to provide you with some examples of the kinds of things on offer if you need some more information.

Most cruise operators will allow you to pre-book excursions, which is advisable to ensure your place. If you prefer not to, and would like to decide later, you can generally book excursions aboard ships at their information desks.

  • About This Ship

Lifestyle onboard the Azura

Azura’s godmother is the illustrious ballerina Dame Darcey Bussell, who had the privilege of naming the ship at its launch in April 2010. Onboard, Azura features an impressive array of 10 restaurants, including the Peninsular Restaurant, The Glass House, and The Epicurean, complemented by 13 bars and cafés. The ship offers a diverse range of entertainment options, such as the Playhouse theatre, a library, an art gallery, and the SeaScreen open-air cinema. Guests can relax at Brodie’s or take in the breathtaking views from the stunning three-deck atrium. Malabar, an exotic bar inspired by the modern hotels of Mumbai, enhances the lively atmosphere with offerings that range from piano recitals to cabaret performances. The Manhattan show lounge is the ideal venue for enjoying spectacular cabaret acts, quiz shows, tribute performances, family-friendly entertainment, and energetic disco nights.

Azura seamlessly combines entertainment and relaxation for the perfect sunny escape. Be sure to catch a show at the Playhouse, which features performances twice each evening, catering to all musical preferences. And when it comes to dining, The Glass House offers a must-try selection of Mediterranean tapas. If you’re looking to unwind the following morning, indulge yourself with an alfresco spa treatment at The Retreat.

Azura typically accommodates 3,100 guests and is staffed by 1,250 crew members.

During the day, you can wear whatever you prefer. However, we do have two evening dress codes on all our ships: Evening Casual and Black Tie. On Evening Casual nights, feel free to showcase your finest shirt, dress, and smart dark denim. For Black Tie evenings, don’t forget to bring your best tuxedo, suit, or cocktail dress.

On each ship, there are specific venues where dress codes are relaxed, so be sure to consult your daily Horizon paper delivered to your cabin to find out where these locations are, as they differ from ship to ship. Additionally, for families traveling on kid-friendly ships, children aged 12 and under are exempt from dress codes.

Azura is a paradise for food enthusiasts, boasting a variety of dining experiences throughout the ship. Wine aficionados will find themselves in heaven at The Glass House, while those seeking an exquisite dining experience can reserve a table at The Epicurean.

Azura guarantees endless entertainment. For lively evenings, you can enjoy a cabaret performance in Manhattan, the ship’s New York-themed lounge, or immerse yourself in music and dance at The Playhouse theatre. For a truly memorable experience, consider snuggling up on deck with some snacks while watching a movie on the SeaScreen, the ship’s open-air cinema.

To enhance your outdoor experience, treat yourself to a rejuvenating alfresco spa treatment at The Retreat, the ship’s exclusive outdoor spa terrace. Unwind in one of the cozy shaded cabanas, complete with personal wait service, luxurious robes, towels, and more.
